• Strictly necessary — admin session. When a member of Contessa staff logs in to the website’s admin area, we set a single secure session cookie so they stay signed in. It is not set for ordinary visitors and is never used for tracking.

What we don’t use

We do not use advertising, marketing or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Booking enquiries are sent through Formspree, which does not set cookies on this site. Because we only use a strictly-necessary cookie, no consent banner is required under UK rules (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations).

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not affect your use of this website.
