This policy explains how Contessa Curtains Limited (“we”, “us”) handles the personal information you share with us through this website. We are the data controller for that information.

What we collect

We only collect personal information when you get in touch through our booking / enquiry form. That is:

• your name, phone number and email address; and
• your preferred showroom visit date and time, and any message or project details you choose to include.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track your browsing. The only cookie this site sets is a strictly-necessary session cookie that keeps our own staff signed in to the website’s admin area — it is never set for ordinary visitors. See our Cookie Policy for detail.

How we use it, and our legal basis

We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry, arrange and confirm your showroom visit, and provide the quotes or information you have asked for. Our legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to and managing enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into any contract. We will not sell your information, and we will not use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Your form submission is delivered to us through our form provider, Formspree, which processes the data on our behalf purely to pass your message to us. As Formspree operates in the United States, your enquiry may be processed outside the UK; where that happens it is protected by appropriate safeguards. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties except where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to handle your request and any resulting order, after which they are deleted.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you give us against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it.
